The leadership lessons from the book The Fido Factor were front and center when national radio host Rick Tocquigny interviewed Krissi Barr. As part of his series called “CEO in 10,” Rick talks with business leaders about a variety of topics designed to help CEOs become more effective leaders. The broadcast appeared on BlogTalkRadio, the largest supplier of podcasts to iTunes.
Rick’s CEO in 10 series is designed to give business leaders quick insights into critical management and leadership topics. Rick is a former P&G executive who has spent his career working with business owners from many different industries.
“I loved The Fido Factor and the personality that went into it,” said Rick. “Think big…FIDO deserves it!”
In addition to his CEO in 10 series, Rick also hosts Life Lessons. This show includes a broad cross-section of people whose stories can help inspire others. Here’s how he describes it:
“Life Lessons is about testing everything in life and keeping what is good. Our dream is to create a nation of mentors that unleash the full potential of humans. To date, we have over 2 million mentors and proteges well on their way to a transformed life.”
“It was gratifying to be interviewed by Rick,” said Krissi Barr. “It was clear that he enjoyed The Fido Factor, which always makes a conversation more fun. He saw how the cornerstone leadership lessons from the book–how great leaders and dogs are faithful, inspirational, determined and observant–applied to people at work. They can help anyone get a leg up at work.
“Rick also saw how these concepts, and the specific tips in the book, go beyond work,” Krissi continued. “The Fido Factor ideas can help anyone become a better leader at school, when volunteering or in virtually any aspect of life.”
